This flow meter is a clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter that can measure the flow rate of fluids flowing inside pipes from the outside of the piping. By installing detectors upstream and downstream of the flow, it adopts the "time-of-flight difference method," which calculates the flow velocity based on the time difference of ultrasonic waves transmitted in the forward and reverse directions from each detector. Since measurements are taken from outside the piping, it is not affected by the properties of the liquid.
